Can I photograph people?

A gesture toward your camera and a raised eyebrow is enough — most people will nod or wave no. This applies to everyone — Moroccans and foreigners living in the medina alike. Snake charmers, musicians, and water sellers perform for the camera and expect 10–20 MAD. Women and children should not be photographed without explicit consent.
