Is there a ride-hailing app?

The short answer

inDrive is the most widely used. Uber relaunched in late 2025.

inDrive has over 50,000 drivers in ten cities. You propose a fare, the driver counters, you agree. Cash only. It's technically illegal (the Ministry of Transport rejected their licence in 2025), which means police occasionally stop inDrive vehicles and ask questions. The driver will tell you to say you're a friend, not a passenger. For a few dirhams saved over a regular taxi, it's a lot of hassle.

Uber relaunched in Casablanca and Marrakech in late 2025 with licensed operators, fixed pricing, and card payment. Smaller footprint than inDrive.
